How To Get Your Brand (Or Yourself) Press Coverage

June 13 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

We all know content on the internet is fleeting. There’s a main character on Twitter every day, and you almost never want to be that. Instagram’s algorithm changes so frequently it’s impossible to hack, and despite being able to see their every move online, getting someone in media talk to you and write a story about your brand seems nearly impossible. While it’s common knowledge that strong branding and a good social media strategy can pull in press on it’s own, understanding the media space and being able to successfully pitch yourself or your brand is invaluable. We are bringing a panel of editors and a skilled publicist for insights on how to get press for your brand. During this talk we will discuss press relations, what a publicist actually does, the type of press you should be looking for, how to talk to media people (before and during an interview) and everything in between.
